The Wizarding World has seen its fair share of suffering, such as the reign of Lord Voldemort that occurred not once, but twice. But, as it was foreseen, good triumphed over evil and the world gained peace. It seemed to be everlasting for witches and wizards everywhere, a great relief to those who feared the worst in the midst of rebuilding. Twenty-five years later, someone now threatens to destroy the peace that has come to be, though not in such a way that would strike fear in the general public. It's much worse: Hogwarts has a new Headmaster and the students aren't going to like him.
Tiberius Ogden was just appointed the position of Headmaster of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry during the summer, the former Headmaster, Matthew Harrison, having abruptly retired when he suddenly came upon a very large sum of money. The Ogden name is famous for its liquor, though Tiberius has no interest in making drunks out of his peers. No, Tiberius Ogden followed another path, one of strict behavior that came with wielding a firm hand rather than a tap. A retired Hit Wizard, Tiberius has known a life of hardship and determination and believes that today's youth are becoming weak-minded prats. As a way to change this, he quickly took up the position Headmaster Harrison wished to discard.
Students will be in for quite the shock when they return to school to have their yearly start of term feast. Not only are they receiving a new Headmaster, but he comes with a whole new set of rules - rules so numerous in count that a book of them was created - something each student will find at their seat.

Shortly before his death in 1997, Albus Dumbledore held a meeting with the Order of the Phoenix, and he invited several of the adult members of the D.A. as well. With the help of the Department of Mysteries, he was able to procure what few time turners remained, and he asked more of the Order than he ever has before. To go back in time, hunt down the Horcruxes, and defeat Voldemort before the second war ever happens. To prevent the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands. To change the course of history.
Most agree, but there are dangers none of them could have foreseen. There is no guarantee they will be able to return to their own time--or survive long enough to try. Darkness permeates every aspect of the wizarding world, and no one outside of the Order can discover who they are. But most importantly, the combined Order must work together and hunt down the Horcruxes before it's too late.

The year is 1978. The war against the Death Eaters has been boiling under the surface for almost a decade now. It was little things at first, easy to ignore, escalating to bigger attacks, bigger crimes, and of course, retaliation. Now the country is about ready to tear itself apart as the Ministry steps up their attempts to defeat Voldemort and no one is really sure who they should trust, if they should trust anyone at all. Who can you turn to when your own government is as likely to kill you as the masked criminals roaming the streets?
Even the muggles are starting to notice. Attacks in muggle places are becoming more frequent, the Death Eaters getting more bold. And everyone is asking the same question.
How long before it's open war?
The First War is a Post-Warts, MWPP era RPG. We are canon through November 1st, 1978 and then we diverge, allowing the characters to tell their own stories.

All through time, people are living their lives as normally as possible considering their current conditions, whether it be war or peace in their respective times. They are blissfully unaware of what will come of their futures--or what might not come to pass.
The year is 2010 and people are arriving in an unfamiliar Hogsmeade. The town looks familiar enough for some former Hogwarts students to identify, but for others it has changed drastically and for some it's a pale comparison of what it is to be. These people are arriving from all eras, starting with the beginning of Hogwarts. People are likely to meet their future children and possibly even grandchildren. People are likely to find out what they didn't want to know about their futures.
Then there's the obvious question of how they arrived here. Who caused it and what is their purpose?
The Ministry of Magic is working diligently to find out why these people are here and how to send them back to their own times, but can this be accomplished before time itself is changed?

Premise
The Wizarding world is recovering from the Wars. The magical community is still worried someone will return. The world isn't ready for what happened next. Time has passed. People married. Wizards Married. New generations of students are coming to Hogwarts. Things seem to be keeping calm and quiet. Except rumors have been circling that someone is trying to restart the Death Eaters. Reform the group that brought so much terror to the wizarding world. In response to those rumors, the Order of hte Phoenix has begun to pull itself back together. Parents find their children going to classes with children of the children of old Death Eater families. Is the next generation like their parents? Or will the oldest families learn to change with the times? Will they band together to face a possible resurgence of dark times or will they fall apart at the seams? Time will only tell - but some events seem to be pointing towards a repeat in history. No matter what the war or how great the cause, it's hard to worry about freedom fighters, acts of Wizengamot, or Sub-Saharan genocide when there are OWLs to be earned. At the close of 2021, the students of Hogwarts remain blissfully isolated from the Revelation and the clash of the Wizarding and Muggle worlds. Aside from a prank here, a fight there, and the hush-hush workings of the Committee, Hogwarts seems largely isolated from the riots and the deaths and the hasty treaties that are characterizing Integration in Europe. The rebels can work their ways around the school's anti-Dark Arts wards if they must, and the Prefects can keep hastily trying to maintain the lack of anti-Muggle animosity the Headmistress has imposed, but for the most part, just like they have in every other war, the students of Hogwarts are just trying to grow up.

Rodolphus at Wished would still love a few unique roles filled. Following the recent takeover of the Ministry of Magic by Voldemort and his Death Eaters, Rodolphus has been tasked with finding people to join the Snatchers. The problem? We don't have nearly enough dark-minded adults around! There are many possibilities - any former students, of course. Any name only canon names that you want to flesh out as an OC Snatcher too would probably work! We just need some dark to counteract all the damn Order members we have around! Hi! Yes I'm back to span F-lists until I get the characters I want :) At ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) ammods a 'Dark King' has messed up some really complicated magic, and instead of having children to cultivate into an army, he has wound up with witches and wizards of all ages, years, and beliefs! I play Angelina Johnson & Pollux Black... & Rodolphus Lestrange but he doesn't have any specific demands today. For Angelina JohnsonGeorge Weasley! There has just been a new Fred hold, so hopefully he'll go through! Angelina has found out that she ends up married to George, having two children, and a whole lot of nieces and nephews! Molly Prewett is in game, Ginny Weasley, Harry Potter, a 10 year old Bill Weasley, and other characters! → I think it would be nice to have him from after they are married/have children, but any aged George would make me VERY HAPPY. In Angelina's time, they've sort of come together over their grief from Fred's death, but they aren't anything serious. If he's younger than 18, he will need a guardian and that would freak Angie right out! Especially if she'd have to explain Fred's death :( → PB? Kevin McKidd maybe? The Fred hold is holding Nick Santino Fred II! There is a Roxanne on hold (and since one of the mods is app'ing her, she's likely to go through!), but I'm selfish and want Fred II as well. At the moment, Ang is kind of jealous that all these parents are meeting their own children, and she wants to meet hers. She was probably a slightly demanding mother, since we all know Angelina has a bit of a problem when she gets in control! I'm sure she worked on that with George, and tried really hard to not be upset if her kids didn't love quidditch. → As for ages, I have no preference. If he's under 17 Ang would petition for guardianship, but she's more concerned that he comes over when he comes. For Pollux BlackVioletta or Cygnus Black! Pollux is one of the few Blacks who actually like his parents! He's 18, had three kids, and is living at home. His mother refuses to help Irma (his wife) raise the children, so they don't have a terrible lot of interaction at home. Pollux got a job thanks to his lovely Daddy, and is quite happy with his life. What he's not happy about, is strangers & "blood traitors" Morag MacDougal and Sirius Black raising his baby sister Cassiopeia. He has petitioned the King and they refuse to do anything about the situation. He is also rather upset he has to plan to see his own sister! If his mum or dad come and are of age, then they would automatically get Cassie. If they are underage, it still might help Pollux's cause. |

On October 31, 1981, an event happened that changed wizarding history – Tom Riddle, also known as Lord Voldemort, went to Godric's Hollow, and defeated Lily and James Potter. It was the turning point in the war, and six months later, the Death Eaters gained control of the Ministry of Magic and the Order was crushed. Muggleborns had severe restrictions put on them, including restricting jobs, education and who they could marry. Restrictions were also placed on muggle items, travel and communication with the muggle world.
Purebloods flourished in the new political climate, and under the direction of Narcissa Malfoy, great social changes began to take shape. Called the "Great Wizarding Renaissance," there was a call to return to pureblood values and manners in order to further separate themselves from the immoral and inferior muggle world. Traditional courtship was brought back, and matches were made not of love, but to strengthen bloodlines.
The year is 2001, and a new announcement by the Ministry of Magic will once again strengthen the divide, all but cutting off the magical world. Will it be enough to pull the Order of the Phoenix from its slumber, or will this be the stroke that severs the two worlds for good?

What if Dumbledore had been killed, but it wasn't by Snape, but that Bellatrix had done it instead? And no one at school ever figured out for sure that Draco was the original one behind the mission from Voldemort. Speaking of, since Dumbledore's death no one has even heard from the Dark Lord. It seems as if he just disappeared, and though most are still a bit uneasy, a strange sort of calm has come over the wizarding world. The neutrals tend to be the calmest, either because they can't choose a side or because they truly believe the war has ceased. Those who have chosen the light are a bit more paranoid. They're still not fans of those who have openly supported the Dark Lord or the Dark Arts in general. And those on the side of dark? There are secret underground meetings. They're waiting for Voldemort to rise again, some may even think they know the time or place of when it will happen. Welcome to an alternate reality for Hogwarts in the Trio's seventh year. But what if you could change history?
Shortly before his death in 1997, Albus Dumbledore held a meeting with the Order of the Phoenix, and he invited several of the adult members of the D.A. as well. With the help of the Department of Mysteries, he was able to procure what few time turners remained, and he asked more of the Order than he ever has before. To go back in time, hunt down the Horcruxes, and defeat Voldemort before the second war ever happens. To prevent the deaths of hundreds, if not thousands. To change the course of history.
Most agree, but there are dangers none of them could have foreseen. There is no guarantee they will be able to return to their own time--or survive long enough to try. Darkness permeates every aspect of the wizarding world, and no one outside of the Order can discover who they are. But most importantly, the combined Order must work together and hunt down the Horcruxes before it's too late.
History is changing right before their eyes. But the war isn't over yet--and things are only getting started.

Some times I miss a certain comm in a certain place. I miss the intereaction it gave my muses then I look back and think - wait - WHAT interaction. Yeah. I am about half way finished with a few things but no finishes. This is getting frustrating. Sketch idea growing into a fuller idea and that will be used as a 'cartoon' for other things.There'll be a few changes in the finished idea, mostly fixing up a few 'wrong ways to draw' and that necklace. Hi everyone! Diagon Alley (opened December 7) and I are looking for more players! I play Theodore Nott and Harry Potter. For Theo, I would love to see some more Pureblood girls. He hasn't settled down yet, but he's really thinking about it and I'd like to see how he goes with that. We have an Astoria and a Pansy, but someone like Daphne Greengrass added to the mix would be great. Anyone who might work with him at Gringott's would be fun too. For Harry, some more Gryffindors would be great! Also anyone else who would be in the DMLE. He has his best friends and his wife, but I'd love to see Neville, Seamus, Dean - all of those. I'd also like to see a Ginny and see how their dynamic is now, as they didn't end up a couple. Plus we'd love anyone else you might think of! We're set in 2009 and really open character wise. The Order is weak, though mobilizing. Some have lost hope in them, while others strive to resurrect the Phoenix.

So, I figure I'll try going about this a different way. First, hi I'm Arielle, the mod at Act 3, which is a next gen Harry Potter game taking place two years after the epilogue in Deathly Hallows. It's mostly canon and is centered around both the adults and children. We're currently gearing up for a plot involving the Werewolves, which we're looking for a couple specific characters for, which I'll get to. I currently play Percy Weasley and James Potter and will be bringing in Ron Weasley shortly. A couple of the characters we're currenly looking for fill are: Neville Longbottom: Neville is currently the Herbology Professor at Hogwarts, after spending some time as an Auror with Harry and Ron. I know that his wife Hannah and son Frank would very much like a Neville around, not to mention he'd be quite useful in the upcoming plot. Audrey Weasley: Audrey is Percy's ex-wife. They started out as friends, one thing led to another and Audrey got pregnant. Not long after the birth of their second daughter the two divorced because of Percy's affair with Oliver Wood. I know that Molly would love to have her mum around. Lucy Weasley: Lucy is Percy and Audrey's fifteen year old daughter. A pb that would be prefered would be Stacey Farber because of her resemblance to Molly's pb, but it would initially be up to the player. Percy would love to have his other daughter around and Molly would love her sister to be around. Hugo Weasley:: Ron and Hermione's son. He will also be a part of the upcoming plot. Ron, Hermione and Rose would love to have the final addition to their family. Other characters we'd love to see are Bill & Fleur Weasley, George & Angelina Weasley, Viktor Krum, Other Hogwarts Trio Era Adults and their children. We also accept OCs. It's 2005, Lavender and the rest of her classmates, as well as selected people from 1981, have been transported to an alternate universe where Bellatrix Lestrange is the Dark Lord, and Neville Longbottom the chosen one. Hello! My name is Jamie and I'm here on behalf of find_horcruxes. The game takes place in 1979 (almost 1980!) and is slightly AU to that of the book's canon. The premise explains it much more eloquently than I ever could, but basically Trelawney never made her prophecy and Dumbledore found out about the horcruxes during the first war. Fun! Anyway! I play a number of characters at the game, but I'm here specifically on behalf of Andromeda Tonks. Cygnus Black was just accidentally killed while Aurors were coming to raid the Black household on suspicion of dark objects, so there is all sorts of fun to be had. Unfortunately, Andromeda is the only Black sister currently in play! I would absolutely adore a Narcissa around (Bellatrix is currently held). There is currently a hold for Lucius, but Rodolphus is also open which is a shame seeing as his brother, sister and father are in play and would love for him to join them! There are a number of different types of characters that the game needs as a whole and specific characters that players are hoping for, so if nothing that I have described seems like what you're looking for there is almost certainly something there that might trip your interest!
